A Clean Cleaner For Smart Screens

Because our skin produces its own natural oils, people with even the cleanest hands find the screens of their smart phones and tablets smeared and streaky.

Use this non-toxic cleaner for a naturally clean screen. You can make it in a minute with just a few ingredients that you may already have on hand.

Use this same solution to clean counters, sinks, stove tops, appliances, and tiles. (Do not use this cleaner on wooden, leather, delicate, or natural stone surfaces.) It smells like vinegar when it's wet but the odor evaporates as soon as it dries.

I scented mine with lavender essential oil. Like all pure essential oils, it has natural anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties. You can substitute any essential oil you like as long as it's pure (not diluted with carrier oils) and organic. Always avoid synthetic and perfume oils. If you don't have a good quality essential oil, simply omit it. The cleaner will still leave your smart screen streak-free.

Materials:

1 cup filtered water
1 cup white vinegar
5 drops pure organic lavender or orange essential oil
Clean spray bottle (glass if you can find it) and label

Directions:
  1. Add the ingredients to a clean glass spray bottle.
  2. Close it tightly and shake it up to mix everything together.
  3. Label the bottle with the ingredients and date.
  4. Before each use, shake the bottle again to re-distribute the essential oils.
  5. Spray the solution on dirty surfaces and wipe it off with a clean paper towel or a clean damp sponge.
